David Haye: "I'll Fight Peter if Klitschko Backs Down"

Haye vs. Wlad would be 100 times bigger if Haye had a WBC belt. It hurts to admit but I seriously doubt that Vitali will fight Peter, he's been out of the ring for too long to return without injuring himself and bail out once again. I actually give Haye a very high chance of beating Peter, he's too fast and would completely outspeed Peter, make him tired, and win a comfortable UD or maybe even late KO.

Haye has not had one fight as a heavyweight and many of you are saying he is going to walk through the heavyweight division which is absurd. Suspend your judgement and wait to see how he looks in a couple fights. Based on what I have seen in Hayes crusierweight fights, I can't possibly see him surviving 12 rounds against Peter.

He has had a fight at HW and ended it after 1 round admittedly the guy wasnt the best but he got the required beatdown!
Haye knocked out the Linear champ in his own backyard, then ended the other champ Enzo within two rounds. I was there and he had Enzo doing the chicken dance! he cant do much more, apart 1 punch KO's, now who has ever done that?

If Sam Peter lands on Haye he will knock him down, but he aint gonna land cos he's too slow. He'll be chasing shadows all night. When Peter turns he makes the beeping noise like large vehicles do!

Klitschko is another matter n i aint gonna say what'll happen!

As of Wednesday, David Haye received a number-five position in the heavyweight rankings by the WBC. Haye vacated the WBC cruiserweight title in order to make his move to the heavyweight division. For several weeks he's been calling out IBF/WBO heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko, but is now willing to fight WBC champ Sam Peter if the Klitschko fight doesn't happen.

stuff like this makes me feel embarrased to have haye on my favorites list. I don't mind the talking if he actually fights and beats a top heavyweight. I do believe that he will have a successful heavyweight career but he needs to not disrespect the top hw's. talking is easy, he has to atleast fight someone before he can be ALLOWED to trash talk.

I feel bad for wlad cuz he has earned the top spot by fighting in the hw division for years and here comes along this guy who has no significant hw fights and starts irritating him. there are gonna be ppl out there that are gonna think that wlad is ducking haye and wlad is crap and all that just cuz of this. remember, only if haye wins some significant fights and becomes #1 contender, can you consider this ducking.
