David Haye: "I'll Fight Peter if Klitschko Backs Down"

If Haye really does fight Peter he's risking his shot at Wlad. He will no doubt be faster than Peter, but I wonder if he'll be able to keep up that speed for 12 rounds. Plus who knows at this point if he can take a big punch from a legitimate quality HW.Comment

I've been pretty hard on ol' Mr. Haye. But I do like that he's trying to ****e up a pretty weak division. You have to love the persistence. Win or lose, he appears to be willing to take on anyone, literally. He'd just better hope he doesn't come out and lose to Peter. 'Cause he'll **** up any chance of a match with Wlad (which I believe he will lose, badly)Comment

Actually Haye isn't claiming Wlad owes him anything but a fight between the two would be big. However, I feel Haye should dust off the fat and always out of shape Sam Peter first to build this fight up with Wlad a little more.
And like Haye is saying, he is going to keep his cruiserweight discipline and condition which is exactly what I was saying he needs to do in order to take advantage of today's poorly conditioned heavyweights. If he makes good on this promise, a new star in the heavyweight division has been born.Comment

Haye should stick with the WBC route and should he win that title, a Klitschko fight will follow.Comment

We will see how serious Haye is, i guarantee you if Klitschko offered him a fight right now he would turn it down and say it wasnt enough money no matter how much the offer was for.
This is like when James Toney talked a bunch of **** and then turned down a million dollar offer syaing he should get double.Comment
