Larry Holmes was robbed when he fought Spinks. The powers that be never wanted Larry Holmes to be a champion and that is why he is so underrated now. Spinks getting those wins against Holmes is equal to Chavez getting a draw against Pernell Whitaker. Those are the results but that not the way **** should have went.

Larry Holmes is arguably a top 5 heavyweight.

Yeah sure an old Larry Holmes who went on to beat Ray mercer in his prime and got robber against Oliver Mccall who trounced a prime Lennox Lewis. Tyson would have beat anyone on their best day save Ali, Paterson, Foreman, Frazier (good fight) and few others...

I'm a big Tyson fan. He is probably my favorite fighter ever and while I don't like to think of Mike this way, It's kind of true. He did lose to all of the great fighters he fought but I think it was a mental thing. As a fan, I know his strengths and weaknesses. Most people think he would have been a greater fighter if Cus hadn't died so early in his career and I agree.

Say what you will, It's pretty amazing that he became HW champion of the world at the young age of 20! A feat that will likely, never be accomplished again.
