Hatton will not be given enough credit if he wins.. Pac started at 106 the lowest weight in Boxing the Minimum Weight.. he jumped like 9 Divisions already and now he is a natural 130... I really don't know but it's like Pavlik calling out the Welterweights...

I want to see how Pac's power will dismantle Diaz.. Diaz started at 140 and if he can KO this guy, Pac has a big chance of knocking Hatton out.. Diaz and Hatton are face first very open to the left hand of Pac..

Hatton is no Leonard. He doesn't have the capacity for executing a considered gameplan, which is what Ray had to do against Marv.

How do you imagine Hatton fighting De La Hoya? We know there's only one way he would fight Oscar, and it would get his ass beaten up.

I would bet you real money that he won't fight any of the 3 jr. welterweight champions you mention.

point is strange things can happen in a Boxing ring sometimes the form book goes out the window as Leonard proved ,Hatton has also had trouble with southpaws his intire career even as an amateur in theory he should be to strong for pac but in reallity if Pac won it would not suprise me that much

Ray was still a heavy underdog in that fight regardless

any answer you give is an "excuse"

these are great athletes. involved even the most pedestrian journeyman is more talented than any of us mere mortals.

to be great , you have to think you're great. if a guy beats them what do you expect them to say? i'm not that good? i can't beat him? he's better than me? if they really think that it's not a good mentality for their next fight.

mentality and confidence (even arrogance) means everything. if you think you can't win...... more than likely you'll lose.
Well Hatton's response was that Mayweather was very quick, very strong and hit much harder than he expected. He also mentioned that the referee made it hard for him to work but it wasn't the referee who was hitting him. Then he was asked "Do you think the weight made the difference?". What's he gonna do, lie?

exactly. that's why saying someone's is making "excuses" is overrated.

every boxer has an opinion on why they lost.

Will you expect Pac to fight smart with Hatton?

If these guys go toe to toe, and Hatton gets beat...that would not be a good look for Ricky.

                    So don't **** on it.
you couldn't be more wrong my friend. hatton should be embarrassed, and i like him. trying to cement some kind of substantiation to his half-assed career by taking on a guy who started at under 112 lbs is a laugh, not fight of the decade.

it would not be good but like i said it would not shock me that much if Pac did win with that game plan

his stance will throw Hatton straight away and IMO Hatton has erroded his skills as a fighter ,he is not the same fighter that fought Pre Tszyu
