According to Boxrec, Hatton is 5'6 and has a 65' inch reach. Pac is 5'6 1/2, with a 67' inch reach.

So retiring after being undefeated and building a very, very good resume makes him a disgrace? No, a disgrace would've been him continuing to fight for years and never make another important fight... bowing out is 10x better than if he had actually spent years ducking people.

All you haters have are a couple of small windows of "he shoulda done this" type bull ****. The man was one of, if not the best fighters of the last 20 years. A few years from now, if he stays retired, people will be sad that he didn't fight Cotto or perhaps Williams... but in the long run nobody will give a **** who is worth a damn.

I'm happy to say that I got to watch one of the single greatest fighters ever live on numerous occasions... despite my disdain for him outside of the ring.

Pac has the longer reach, but Hatton is 5'7.

IDK about that. HBO lists him as 5'7, I think he's closer to 5'5 really. He looked at least 2 inches shorter than Mayweather. He is very short.

Yet, now Ricky is planning to fight a guy who has, um, zero fights at lightweight, not to mention junior welterweight.
The fact that PAC stands a Good chance of winning says it all..

Shouldn't you be embarrassed for trying once again to Blast Poor Hatton and Big Up Your recently retired Chicken-**** **** Boy, Floyd??

              Just wondering

No, people around here think he's a disgrace. These people who have nothing better to do all day than talk **** about this fighter or that fighter and let their personal bias get in the way of any meaningful discussion or rational though inside their tiny, mostly empty heads.

He can be a douche bag outside the ring. Pacquiao and Oscar released albums, Tyson did some bull **** with the WWF (and K-1 for that matter), and there have been hundreds of real and pretend thug personalities in boxing at this point.

I'd say if **** like that honestly bothers you people then you need to pick up a new sport to watch...

Calm down. He's one of the greatest ever at 130-135-140. He was fighting above were he belonged at 147-154, he wasn't and isn't obligated to fight there.
If he wanted to prove he was as good as Leonard, he could clean out 147. If he wanted to get into the SRR echelon, he'd need to beat Pavlik and Calzaghe. As it stands, he's right around the Sweet Pea level. He doesn't owe us anything, it's his career. And it's offensive to call him a coward, he's a fighter who steps in the ring and puts his life on the line.

I like it when I'm proven correct so easily.

                      Thanks for playing, jackass.
