I actually see pacman vs diaz being so tough and dirty fight...pacman wont knock him down or out.

David diaz if you look at him is tough and hungry and he hits harder then any guy pacman faced.
It will be an interesting fight and should be exciting. A lot of questions should be answered in this fight.

I think this match up if hatton demolishes pacman we have to give him credit...but if it was oscar vs pacman or hatton it would be a joke fight and make him lose credit.

think about it hatton and pacman are similar in height with pacman having 1 inch on him and a reach advantage....hatton is wider and weighs more though so advantage to hatton.

But its a more legit match up for hattons career because he will go agains the p4p king in boxing and the guy who has been in the top 5 for nearly 5 years strong! pacman has been ranked around the top 3 for a while now so this win would be a good win for Hatton to seal his legacy.

      what do you guys think?
No, it wouldn't. It would be a total mismatch fight.

IMO alot of people will discredit it tho as they did with the kosta fight
when duran fought hagler and hagler won did people discredit hagler?

if pacman shows he can be a Beast at 135 then hatton vs pacman is gonna the biggest fight of under 147 pounders ever!

Even if pacman wins a split decision against diaz in a tough battle hatton vs pacquiao will break all lower weight records...pacman already broke the record with 500,000 buys for a featherweight fight.

so this fight would double that maybe close to 1 million or more.

I can see whats being said as i think even if Hatton won he wouldnt be given much credit, due to reasons like the wieght the fight took place at, ect. But i suppose that happens with lots of fights / fighters.

Personally i hope this fight goes ahead. 2 Great fighters going head to head in what could be a great fight...hopefully it happens. I would favour Hatton.

I would certainly like to see this fight, it would be an exciting matchup, but if we look at it closely this is just another stop on the big money, mega fight merry-go-round that some of the top fighters seem to have embarked on and which have much more to do with money and names than boxing and competition.

We've seen Hopkins fight Winky at LHW, Jones fight Trinidad, Mayweather fight Hatton and De La Hoya, and Hopkins' two fights with De La Hoya and Trinidad had the same flavour about them. I'm sure there are more examples out there too.

Pacman against hatton is another one of these. Surely, surely Hatton would be too big for Pacqiao? This is a MUCH smaller guy who we don't even know can fight at 135. All these guys want to fight Hatton before he retires because of the money he can bring to the table, nothing more.

All this doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see the fight, I would watch and enjoy it I'm sure, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let myself be fooled about what it would really be about.

A good angle would be Hatton fighting the new pound for pound number 1.

He could go with an avenge angle as well.

I'd love to see this match up.

You're a joke. It's people like you who criticize Mayweather's resume, yet have no problem putting a bum like Hatton on your P4P after one good win and numerous bad performances...

the only ones who really wouldnt give hatton credit are the floyd nutt huggers.

Its ok for floyd jr to beat up on a dwarf but hatton cannot fight a guy like pacman who is 1 inch taller then hatton?

even if pacman loses the fight doesnt lose credibility because people will just say 2 tough ass guys and say pacman is a warrior and he can step back down to 135 to fight.

but first we have to see how each of them do against there next foes.

pacman might struggly badly against the bigger diaz.
