This made me laugh cause its true calzaghe style bored my american co workers.

but they enjoyed pacman vs jmm 2.

In terms of excitement, Pacquiao's "kill or be killed" style blows away Calzaghe in most fights. There have been very few lackluster Pacquiao bouts over the last few years. Calzaghe's slapping style and inability to produce big knockouts have not made him a big favorite among fight fans in America. In his last eight fights, Calzaghe has only stopped two opponents.

            Excitement Nod - Pacquiao

calzaghe beat nobodies! and over hyped guys like lacy and manfredo who didnt have the real goods.

Calzaghe beat an over the hill unfocused chris eubank.

and he beat a way older bernard hopkins who is almost 44!

BoxingScene has Pac at number 1 tied with Floyd

and almost all Boxing Medias have Pac at number 2.. He will shift to number 1... Calzaghe has been knockdown by a 44 year old man and that fight was pretty ugly boring as well..

oh don't get me wrong. i'm not one of those that don't acknowledge the fact that marco and erik was past prime. i think marco was a little past it the first fight and definitely way past it the 2nd fight. erik obviously slipped a lot when manny and him met. they were still excellent wins though. marquez is a bad matchup for manny and i can see how people think juan won. the 2nd fight was close. i thought juan won it watching live. i had manny edging juan slightly when i watched it to "officially judge" but i had 2 rounds that could go either way and i can see how juan could've won. that said when he fought marco he was ring 126 champ. and was 130 champ the fight before when he lost it to juan , manny fought next. erik obviously was a legend and although past it still gave diaz a run for his money at 135 afterwards. some would say he won.

i don't really like to use the word ducking. i think boxers follow the money and since it's their job i don't fault them for taking bigger money fights. ducking guzman we'll have to see because he'll be available soon since he's also jumping to 135. valero is good but he has even less name recognition than joan and the problem with him is he can't fight in the states and yes recently he's been allowed to fight in texas but vegas is where manny fights now and that's where the money is.

as far as joe , i don't really badmouth him. i think he's a good fighter but a great i don't know about. i recently moved him from #8 on my p4p list to #3. i did that not because of hop (hop hasn't been on my list for a long time) but because he won the lineal 175. the "slapper" thing i don't get because if a guy doesn't have power it's not his fault. especially if the hand injury story is accurate.

what lowers my opinion of him is his weak division. same reason why i don't think much of tarver. see my dilemna? if i don't have hop on my p4p list and hop took the lineal 175 from tarver who i don't think much of how do i propel joe from #8 on my list to #1? i still think joe's best win is eubank and that was 10 years ago and eubank can be argued was past prime more than erik or marco. lacy and kessler were good wins but like i said those two were the best in what i consider a weak division. erik and marco although past prime can still be argued , and was considered at the time manny beat them , still around the top of their much more competitive divisions. i hold prime erik and marco higher than prime eubank and hopkins. that's why i consider wins over their past prime versions higher as well.

Pac for me. Calzaghe is just boring. I know excitement is not enough to be on the top of the P4P list, but for the sake of boxing... Can anyone tell me he enjoyed the last hopkins fight as compared to the pac-jmm rematch. The ability of calzaghe and his accomplishment cannot be disregarded though.
