Which fight did Floyd have that put him on the map with past atg's? What was his "legacy" fight?
    What is Cotto's?

Corrales was undefeated and favored to beat Mayweather, Mayweather put him down 5 times

ya but corrales is no frazier duran or hearns. he was a good fighter and a true warrior but not one of the greats. if he was a great he would have given mayweather a better fight.

NO-ONE not Cotto or corrales..
Ali was considered a heavy underdog against Frazier. Ali wasnt the Ali he is now at that time. Saying that Cotto wouldn't be a defining win for Floyd is just speculation just like me saying that he would have is.

the fact is, we will never know if Cotto would have been his signature fight because Floyd didnt and will not fight him.

I admit, that is a GREAT win for PBF, but was Corrales really all-time worthy?

The Chico fight gets my vote....It was amazing how Big Floyd said, "Tell Lil Floyd to keep doing what he doing. Around the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, he will be ready to go"

And Floyd kept popping him with the left hand and Chico got stopped in th 10th round. It was good to see Big Floyd and Lil Floyd hug in the ring after and I think JR was crying. Floyd had a great performance and it was good to see him with his dad since that had been estranged from each other.

Mayweather v. Chico, IMO was his career defining fight. He showed what it looks like when you take a baby to the gym and keep him there, and the effects of it when he gets older.
