If boxing still had SAME DAY WEIGH-INS they would even be around.

If they had weigh-ins say 6-8 hours before a fight then fighters who drained themselves would be at a disadvantage against more natural fighters in that class, then and only then will you know who real champs are. Oscar starving himself all those years and then coming into the ring insanely bigger as he was already way taller than everyone, gave him an even greater advantage. Just think, had Oscar started at his more natural weight of 147 he would never be in the HOF. Just my thoughts.
        What about Cotto??

He gains so much weight after the weigh-in HBO won't even weigh his ass on fight night.

Same day weigh-ins have a longer history than this current bull****..
Fighters have always cut weight for an advantage.

              I'm not sure.

They watered the sport down further with 12 round fights..

The heavyweight division would be a lot better with 15 rounders.

All those giants would be GONE..

They couldn't when you had to weigh-in the same day as the fight.

What they did in those days was rig the scales..or bribe the right mofo.

Look at your name, and carefully rethink your opinion so as not to look like an uneducated hypocrite.

Well you cut weight just exercising and training, but some fighters starve themselves to get two and three weight classes below where they should be at, thats what Im talking about, thats why its so easy to balloon back up after the weigh in with fluids.
