Do you think that Margarito beats CQ in the same manner that Cotto did?

What do you think the result would be if Cotto were to fight Clottey??

IMO, Clottey would get completely outclassed CQ would give Margarito a much more difficult fight than Clottey did.

You could also talk about the rematch with Margarito and Cintron and say it was unwarranted.

Cotto moved up to 147 the next fight, if Torres wanted the rematch so bad he should have gone up to 147. The winner has nothing to prove, while the loser has everything to prove.

Look at it from this standpoint. What does Cotto have to prove by fighting Torres again? Cotto knocked him out. He didn't beat him by a BS decision or a controversial stoppage. Torres caught a left to the body, went down and never got back up. Nothing controversial there, the matter was settled.

Now look at it from this standpoint. What did Margarito have to prove by fighting Cintron again?

There isn't anyone else here demanding that rematch but you. Torres had his chance, and he failed. He has his hands full now getting by guys like Kendall Holt.

Take into account that Torres was knocked out, not controversially stopped or on the wrong side of a close decision, it was a clean knockout.

Some fighters might rematch guys they've already destroyed, but not all. There's nothing new to prove there.

Margarito's win over Cintron was better.

Cintron's a bigger puncher and had a lot of media attention on nbc and hbo.

A lot of people thought Cintron was going to destroy Margarito when they first met, while Torres was supposed to be a showcase fight for Cotto in Puerto Rico.

Margaritos was bigger. How can people compare the hype and credit Cintron was getting at the time he was about to face Margarito. While Torres was supposed to be a walk over. Just because Torres gave Cotto all he could handle doesn't mean it was a bigger win after all he was suppose to win! While many thought Margarito was going to lose. Thats the big differnce. So to say Cottos win over Torres was bigger means that those people most likely are Cotto fans or as people like to be ignorant, most likely Puerto Ricans will say the Torres win was better.
