    Was it? I think It was, Margarito went in, handled business against an undefeated future champion. Cotto went in against an unknown and had problems, he took care of business but not like he should have

        Margarito's win over Cintron was impressive cuz he walked thru a puncher's best bombs and pounded his ass into the ground wit no problem. Cotto's win over Torres was impressive cuz he got dropped and knocked silly by a puncher's best bombs and rallied to finish him. Who's win was more impressive depends on if you prefer pure dominance or triumph in the midst of adversity.

              Cotto's fight with Torres was 8 fights ago.

              If you look 8 fights back with Margarito, Margarito not only looked horrible, but he was outclassed against Daniel Santos.

              Therefore lets make a better comparison;

              Was Margarito's win against Emmanuel Clottey bigger than Cotto's win over Carlos Quintana? Both of these fights happened in December of 2006.

                  I dont have to say it because its in the public already, but Torres whoops Cotto if they ever fight again, which I doubt because Cotto knows himself he will get KO'ed and that he got lucky the first time.
