That's true....Floyd is doing things for his own selfish reasons.
With that said, I don't blame him. Alot of fans get their panties in the twist over Mayweather's choices in and outside the ring. He is hot right now and just trying to pocket in as much as coin as he can the easiest way possible while the flame is still burning. Some Floyd critics say "why do you care how much money Floyd makes". I don't, I just understand that us fans have a job that we get paid for and boxing is just a hobby/entertainment to us. And boxing is a fighters job. They get no pensions after they retire. So it's understandable why they don't have the same mentality towards boxing as US the fans do.

To quote Jake LaMotta:
"I recently asked LaMotta what he thought of Mayweather. (Robinson died in 1989.) He said: “I fought 13 years, 106 fights, and I made $750,000, total. Fighting all the time keeps you strong, makes you able to take a shot better, but I would have fought less if I made more money.” He added that he would have wrestled, danced, whatever, if anybody had asked him to and paid him for it
