Again obviously you didnt read my original post as I answered your question before you even asked it, I said and everybody says they want to see it, but it will be a bigger fight later on, if you have followed boxing for awhile this is obvious.

I don't see how rematching a drag queen and a fat man (having already beaten both) is going to make the fight bigger?

The best way to bring new fans into the sport is to have the best fight the best and rely on the fans talking round their friends and family into watching it also.

Everyday that passes the fight only gets bigger to me and means more, by December the calls for the fight will be huge, HBO knows this is the biggest fight they do polls all the time it crushes everything. It is purely business though why it shouldn't happean right now and if they were fighting right now its not like it wouldn't be big but sometimes things can be better then big. Even if Margarito wins impressively, it can't ever be as big as a Cotto PPV would. Then Floyd will be sorry that he waited so long to pick from the ripe tree.

Thats the thing, he has fought good names and he still isnt well known, thats when you have to blame the promoter for not doing his job and a little blame to Cotto, even though he doesnt speak english well, you have to have some kind of personality if youre trying to appeal to the masses. The only reason I said he makes me sick is because I have heard a number of different excuses as to why Floyd doesn't have to fight Cotto. That's not boxing, that's bull****. I'm a fan of boxing, not bull****.

Floyd isnt doing anything to bring Boxing to the mainstream, he's doing everything to bring Floyd Mayweather to the mainstream. Nothing he is doing right now is going to convince people to invest their money in watching other fighters other than Floyd. Especially after Baldomir and DLH. both were considered to be let downs by the casual public. Hatton was decent.

That is entirely possible it is a risky game to play. It can be worth the risks though, in my eyes it is but i am a patient man i can understand why it irritates people. To me it is not a black and white issue aslong as the fight happeans sooner or later. I want this fight to be huge though and not just some big fight, i want this to be the big fight of the decade.
