This is hardly a surprise. Mosely already admitted that he unknowingly took the designer steroids and I doubt there is very many logical people out there that truly believe he really didn't know what he was doing. I always liked Mosely as a person but that is a pathetic excuse.

You may be in error. Consider- the Balco guy and Hudson are/were both charged with procuring and distributing illegal drugs. Both (I think) found guilty or pending. What Mosely says is entirely possible. Hudson being the professional expert, and supposedly knowing all about what's right and what's wrong for fighters. Otherwise, why employ him?? I can't imagine that ANYBODY, would actually tell any other guy that he knew he was doping, and inject himself whilst he was watching. Unless he was a long time bad type, REALLY addicted to drugs.

Especially someone with the squeaky-clean reputation of Mosely.

This is the scenario....(Hudson) I've got some stuff here for you to inject, gives you enormous stamina, and can't be detected. (Mosely) Oh gee, that's terrific, let me have some....but....is it legal?? (Hudson) Weeeel....no it's illegal and you could go to jail if you're found out......but it gives you terrific stamina......(Mosely) weeeel....O.K. gimme!

I can hardly imagine that Mosely, knowing he could go to jail, would take such a risk without seeing top class, up-to-date medical evidence that it was undetectable. He could well afford it.

I think that Mosely's answer in an above situation would have been " Weeel, that's great, but what do I need it for for? I ALREADY HAVE and ALWAYS HAVE HAD terrific stamina........"

It's entirely possible that as a vitamin, Mosely would take it.

But....if he knew he could go to jail, with the association of "needles" and "injections" with illegal drug use, it's hard to believe that he would inject himself in front of an audience, no matter who.

1st off, the fight was won by Oscar but negated by the inept judging.

2nd ,this fight should now be ruled a no contest.

I think the bigger and more important question is how many other guys juiced or used ****? Whether they did it when they were facing Oscar or anybody else is almost irrelevant. It's wrong...not just because it happened against Oscar, but because it's cheating.

Are you saying that Mosley didn't take it? Because Mosley admitted that he did. The point of contention is that Mosley said he didn't know it was steroids while Hudson and Conte say he knew full well what he was taking.

At the end of the day, would anyone on these forums make great character witnesses for Mosley? No, so when people say "I can hardly imagine Mosley would do something like this," you are basing this off their public persona.

In essence, the court of public opinion has a very different judging criteria than does the court of legal justice.

The obvious answer to your comment is that EVERYBODY that Hudson was working for must be suspected, and is probably guilty. To single out just 1 or 2 of his clients seems illogical, and I think that the authorities would look closely into Hudson's backtrail for years and years..

I didn't arbitrarily single out Mosley. Mosley is in the news. Mosley tried to brush it under the rug. Hudson and Conte were summoned by the San Francisco DA and ratted out Mosley. Mosley is probably going to be tried just like Trevor Graham, Marion Jones and Barry Bonds. Why else do you think people are talking about this? Every boxing writer in America wants to sweep this under the rug, but they can't. Mosley is not being singled out...he's caught. There's a difference.

I don't know. If it could be ingested orally then I might buy Mosley's story. But then again, why pay $900 a month for it? There's just too much fishy stuff going on. It's smells bad.

Your question seems foolish to me. Have I not read the article which gave me the information I used in my post-and which I specifically mentioned ????

Certainly the point is whether Mosely knew or not.

My post is entirely about the plausibility and logic of Mosely's response, and how unlikely the assertions of the 2 drug dealers are.

After all, what benefit is it to them to embroil Mosely in the affair. Even assuming that they are truthful-a large assumption- Mosely isn't the kingpin in the affair, merely a user, and unimportant in the scale of any illegal drug hierarchy.

Either spite, or portraying themselves as pawns compared to Mosely-the drug baron...???
