Derryl Hudson, the former strenght and conditioning coach of Shane Mosley, claims that he, along with convicted BALCO president Victor Conte, watched Mosley inject himself with the endurance-boosting drug EPO a few weeks before his 2003 rematch with Oscar De La Hoya. Mosley won the rematch with a late rally to clinch a close unanimous decision. Hudson made the allegations in court papers filed on Friday. [details]

I wonder what Oscar is thinking about all this? I mean, he must be well pissed he possible lost the match to a drug cheat who now happens to be his business partner. If I were him, I'd get a fight on with Mosley, then chuck him out of GBP, ASAP.Comment

All these are allegations that requires proof. So unless proven guilty, mosley must be presumed innocent.Comment

That's the typical kind of knee-jerk reaction one expects on this site. These allegations have been around a while. There are court cases pending. Why would Oscar fight a business partner over this? Why would he act on allegations before a court decides? If Shane was acquitted, Oscar would be wide open to lawsuits from Mosley. These are professional men acting professionally.
Everyone should just chill the **** out and allow Shane his chance to prove his innocence.
Shane is one of my favourites and I want to keep the faith. Nothing in boxing is what it seems. Let's just wait and see.Comment
