Putting Pavlik in with Lockett after Jermain Taylor is probably the reason tickets have barely sold,not to mention next hes gona fight Rubio,Arum needs to put him in with the top guys,win lose or draw,his fighting style will make him a star with the fans,not fighting C- fighters

he should put julio chavez jr on the undercard its not too late that will bring in around5k people or maybe 10k

idk why people dont think Winky is a draw. He drew a big crowd to watch him fight Quartey.

He drew almost all 10,000 of the fans that watched him fight B-hop.

He sold out the place with Trinidad. Got a big crowd on hand against Taylor.

And he never dips below 300,000 buys.

AFter he beat Trinidad, he was a big name in the sport for a while. It wore off, and its probably gone now after his massive layoff, but he's a pretty decent draw still

its not up to him. Arum feels that these fights will build his fanbase.

pavlik and his trainers want Calzaghe and Abraham, and right now Arum is currently trying to set up a PAVLIK-CALZAGHE fight for November, as it appears that Jones may have priced himself out

of coarse the other guys were draws, except Hopkins and Quartey. But considering TAYLOR-SPINKS drew almost no crowd at all, and Trinidad-Jones drew 10,000, it does take a name for the fans to come out to see these guys.

i agree he was a name but hes about as big with fans as hopkins. and taylor was just coming off the hopkins wins when he fought wright. when taylor fought spinks he was coming off very bad wins. most of the fans in ac when he fought pavlik were people from ohio.
