    So nice try.

Pavlik is not a draw.....Jermaine Taylor is a bigger star then him.
Taylor has fought more household names and has been on HBO more then Pavlik. No other reason for it. Taylor isnt exciting to watch at all. Pavlik is still new.

Give him a break, this is his first title defence. cant expect him to be a huge draw on his own already.

This time last year most people had no clue who Pavlik was, and no one knew he was capable of what he's shown us so far. He's made quite a run from obscurity to where he is right now.

Unless Taylor fights bums, he looks like **** and just stands there. Being a "great athlete" only gets you so far.

Bingo. Who the hell wants to see Pavlik against.....what'sisname? That's why tickets aren't selling. If you pay almost nothing for an "opponent" that few people have heard of or seen fight, then expect to get almost nothing at the doors. Pavlik should be fighting big name/risk matches almost exclusively, banking millions of dollars, and trying to make sure his name ends up in the hall of fame. The problem with they way he came to the forefront (big splash) is that unless he keeps making waves, he'll have a hard time keeping up his notoriety.

Taylor can be pretty damn thrilling, gonna have to disagree with you there.

How many other fighters made WINKY WRIGHT fight in a FOTY candidate?

Hopkins always makes boring fights. same with Spinks. cant blame that just on Taylor.

the Winky fight was fun to watch. and its not really a shame to be beat up a bit by Winky...people forget that Winky went on to beat Quartey and imo he also beat Hopkins at 170.
Taylor also near KOed Pavlik in the first fight and landed some impressive shots on him in the next fight. hes not the best, but lets give him credit...hes able to keep the fight competitive with guys that are really good.

Winky battered Taylor against the ropes. Thats what amazed me. Feather fisted Winky just battered him around the ring.

                      Thats not true at all.

whoever u thought won, doesnt matter. it was a very very close fight. I thought winky pulled down a close decision, but a draw was the right call IMO
