If you don't include all the fighters who have gone up through the weights. For accomplishment, consistency, and general overall ability in the history of 140, you would have to make pryor no. 1, tszyu 2, and then possibly ricky hatton 3rd, definitely top 5, not sure if im forgetting people, but id never put him above the other 2 though, but good post otherwiseComment

Read the post properly I made pryor 1
Prime tszyu over hatton for me, basically cos I think
1. prime tszyu would have had enough to carry himself to a close decision win over hatton imo
2. In terms of natural ability I just believe he was the better fighter, every time ricky has stepped in the ring against a world class fighter I always feel there is a chance he could be knocked out, because of the way he fights, but I guess thats why we love him, with tszyu I don't think there was as much of that, not to mention he has better pedigree being an olympic gold medalist.
There is not much in it though, and perhaps if ricky picks up a few more big wins he will move ahead of himComment

Lennox wanted him to rematch Mayweather or retire. If Hatton had more head movement and was taught to slip punches he could have been great. In my opinion he is very good, but lacks the polish of a great fighter.Comment

Its crazy isnt it? For anyone to even try to suggest that Hatton whose only notable victory at 140 was a Tsyzu who was 35 at the time of the fight is the best LWW ever, The guy is not even in the top 5 let alone top 3...If i get my boxing book out i could list 20 LWW in the last 40 years who were better than him and who fought better competition.Comment
