So you should be, It would have been interesting to see how Cotto fared if he stuck around at 140 and fought the top dog?

He was ingnorant, just like his brother after the loss to Vazquez. The ignorant part was that it carried over into the post fight press conference where they both continued to cry about the decision.

You do realize that JMM priced himself out of an immediate rematch which is why the second fight happened 4-5 years after the first? IT WAS ABOUT MONEY FOR JMM ALSO.

Of course he wants to fights Pac again. Pac is the biggest payday out there for him.

as a fan, we get to take keep the memory and pride of knowing that the athlete we follow has done everything they can to prove they are the best. these are things we get to share and enjoy. thats what makes us fans, but the same cannot be said for money.

where as someone like me can say, "Did you see how much trouble Marquez gave Pacquiao? A lot of people think he won the fight", you currently only have the ability to say, "Did you see how much money Floyd is getting for WWE?"

If "many" you mean a minority, then you are correct. but don't get it twisted, the odds were heavily in favor for Floyd because Hatton never truly was a challenge.
Are you serious?, the odds were in favor of pbf, but if emanuel steward was a betting man it wouldnt be one he would be comfortable with, but emanuel is pretty biased.

And vs what fighter do you think the odds wont be in favor of mayweather huh?

the fact that you're interested in mismatches proves how in objective you are. but in true bias fashion, you will claim that the majority of the world thought Oscar was going to KO Floyd regardless of contradicting evidence.
Rematching a close SD is a mismatch?

Rematching Manny Pacquiao, isnt? Look at the first quote above,
Think about his situation compare it to pbf.

Doesnt it feel much more obvious Objectively the rematch he's doing, not just buisness wise.

i never said he wasn't, but you are very hypocritical and at times, immature in your logic even though you try to pass yourself off as an objective, educated boxing fan. the simple truth is that you are far from one.
Ive said it from the start, you dislike floyd mayweather whatever he does. and most of all you dont like anyone who likes him or defends him.
You disgust his fans and himself.

And i respect that. It shows your character.

            pbf
Nah i dont care about his wealth, his character is apealing, the paradox between him as a fighter and person, its quite unique.

jmm didn't price himself out of a rematch............he was offered peanuts compared to what pac was going to make........how is the champ going to receive peanuts in any fight let alone a big rematch...........many people think jmm beat pac in the rematch, and i thought marquez beat vasquez in their thirtd fight.........and i don't like raf marquez one bit...........i'm a juan marquez fan........pac isn't the best at 130........he didn't fight valero or guzman...........now pac is going to fight a bum in diaz and fight more old men.......pac is overrated and people had the nerve to say they think he is pfp the best in the world...........lol........comical............

why do you think the press, media, writers, analysts, boxing fans want Mayweather/Cotto to happen except Mayweather fans? hmm?
i haven't read a post where any floyd fan have said that they don't want him to fight cotto..........i'm seeing cotto fans accuse floyd of either being scared or ducking him...........which is comical..........maybe if you did research on floyd suing arum, and vice versa, you might understand why floyd hasn't fought margs or cotto or done business with arum since he left.........remember dlh left......it took him a while to do business with arum..................i think cotto fans are hiding behind floyd suing arum as floyd being scared........how can you even accuse any fight fan let alone floyd's fans of not wanting him to fight.........lol....snicker.......excuse me......cotto????........

I just want to see this fight!!!

I understand the floyd fans, because I don't think floyd has been ducking cotto for years, people use to say the same stuff about hatton, but he fought him in the end, I think floyd is a true warrior once in the ring, but he just doesn't prove it enough

Now is the time to fight miguel cotto, in an ideal world cotto would be fighting de la hoya or hatton, not mayweather, this brings me to why I understand cotto fans frustrations, because mayweather is taking money fights.

But the point is he is so popular now, and mainstream that it doesn't matter who floyd fights, he would make $10...$15...maybe even $20 million dollars fighting cotto. If mayweather beats de la hoya, it should be cotto next spring/summer? I think everyone would agree

I'm a fan of both fighters, but can you imagine if Mayweather even entertained the thought of fighting Gomez. He'd be laughed out of the sport.

Hmm... He just entertained the thought of Gatti and Balomir...
