That night was the highlight of Torres' career. Since then he has looked like crap and barely won against lesser opposition. Lets see if he can beat Kendall Holt outside of his own country in July. Sure he hurt Cotto, but by the end of the fight Cotto was giving him a fierce beating.

And even had the nerve to come up with some ridiculous imaginary recap of a fight trying to pass it off as fact, when it's 100% bull****.

So okay, why hasn't Torres pushed for the rematch then if he was willing to move to 147? He's a Top Rank fighter too, and I know he doesn't have an easy time making 140 from an interview he did a while back. You're making it seem like Torres was going hard for the rematch and Team Cotto refused. Paulie Malignaggi also says he wants a rematch with Cotto, even at 147. Is Cotto avoiding him too?
No he beat Paulie decisively, paulie didnt have cotto on ***** street. And you know Cotto's people wont let him fight Torres because there is too much at risk. Torres is High Risk - Low Reward. He will **** up the money, and you know they dont want that. Too much invested to lose it to a fighter that no one knows. They have carefully hand picked fights for Cotto so it can lead to big money in the end. You know, the BIG return on your investment that everyone wants. And they'll be damned if a fighter with no name beats Cotto. In the eyes of the main stream it would be a major upset. To me, it would just be what I thought would happen.

Holt fights going backwards and boxes. We all know in our heart of hearts, Cotto cant fight going backwards and box. Mosley exposed him, he was just too long in the tooth to capitalize on it. Cotto is a ****er by nature, and ****ing with Torres will get him KTFO!!!

Who did he get the belt from? BUMS!!!
And I dont ****in suck. I have trained since I was a kid. My dad was a world champion trainer. The reason I aint **** now is because I moved out of my mothers house too early and had to work and support my family. I had offers to fight for the Marines, but didnt go because of 9/11. Taht was my chance to go pro. Now I train fighters and have a fighter that is going to sign with Al Haymon or to a manager of Floyd Mayweather named Kerry. Me and Juan Diaz are the same age, and growing up I was gonna fight him, but in high school I grew too fast and I was 6-1 180 and too big for him. Never happened. Oh well. So dont talk unless you know someones history. I still got it, but boxing doesnt pay the bills, a job does. I am certified by the state of Texas and have my official Texas Trainers License. I will still whoop a lot of guys.

When you say "Torres wanted the rematch and Cotto wouldn't fight him" it makes it seem like Torres was lobbying for the rematch and got turned down. Which wasn't the case. Torres didn't make an outcry for the fight, and neither was anyone else. It's ironic though, your theory of how this transpired, is somewhat similar to how I feel about the Mayweather-Margarito situation.

Torres lobbied and diask for a rematch after his hand healed. Cotto vacated the belt at 140, and thats where Torres stayed. He still wants the fight, but knows there is virtually no possible way for him to get the fight. I bet you anything, if they offered the fight to Torres today, Torres would have signed yesterday. But they wont let Cotto fight him. Too much risk - no reward.

All i said was Pinto reminded me of a weaker and worse chinned Margarito kinda. And that Cotto-Margarito would be an explosive fight because had Pinto been stronger and had a better chin that fight would have been great but Pinto just couldnt hang.

and everyone got all worked up.

Cotto NEEDED to move up due to weight issues. Torres is nothing special bro. Cotto just fought ****** that night. Call me when Torres WINS a fight, DOESNT GET DROPPED HARD AT LEAST ONCE, and THE WIN ISNT CONTROVERSIAL.
