    Kelson Pinto-Antonio Margarito comparison

I just re-watched Cotto-Pinto for the millionth time. Pinto reminded me a bit of Margarito the way he throws punches and the way he was way taller than Cotto. Pinto has more boxing skills than Margarito in my opinion but when brawling and throwing some punches he looks kind of like Margarito. They would get in some good exchanges in that fight, but everytime Cotto hit Pinto he rocked him or dropped him. Margarito has a great chin and that probably wont happen to him. And although Pinto was 20-0 (18 KOs) I think Margarito is a much better puncher.

That being said, i think Cotto-Margarito is going to be ***ing explosive son! I think Cotto will catch Margarito with very hard solid shots like he was catching Pinto on the inside with his shorter arms against the taller man. They are gonna get in some good exchanges man this fight is going to be good!

I think Margarito is much more intense and physical than is Pinto. The only real similarity is in physical structure.

Pinto has no legs under him, He looks like hes struggling to stand up when hes moving around, Long twiggy legs like a baby goat.

Only real comparison like erbad said is physical structure.

Absolutely. Cotto was way stronger than Pinto at 140. Whether or not he is a stronger welterweight than Antonio Margarito remains to be seen.

I said Margarito is more powerful and has a better chin. I didnt compare them in that way. The way Pinto would let his hands go, he would throw looping shots and hard body shots. That on top of his physical structure reminded me of Margarito. I was saying when Cotto hits Margarito he wont get rocked like Pinto. Meaning it wont be the same blow out and will make for an explosive fight when you factor in Margaritos power as well. Thats all.

The only thing Margaritos chin is going to accomplish is getting him a more severe beatdown.

Why not also show the early rounds where Cotto was hurt?

Where is Pinto now? Didn't Steward say Pinto could have been better then Cotto if Pinto was guided like Cotto was? I remember Stewards said this.

And why is Pinto so highly regarded as a Cotto opponet, just because he hurt Cotto?

Margarito is three times stronger the Pinto and Pintos punchs are not like Margaritos.
