Judah was almost knocked out by Baldomir and they made it pay-poo-view

The point is that he fought both smarty. What difference does it make which order he fought them? Most people thought Judah just tanked in the Baldy fight and was actually the better fighter. I can't believe you guys are such haters that you're bashing him for fighting BOTH guys.

If he refuses to do it it won't really matter tho cuz we'll still have a real WW champ without Floyd in the pic.
No man, these guys just want to see floyd lose. they hate him and that a way they can feel good about themselves. they could care less if he fights in a wheelchair, they could care less who's the champion, they want floyd's blood. and he knows it so he's just playing an old game now. dont think the fight will happen soon.

Wow, all of those words and not a point to them.

I think if Mayweather fights this year, it would likely be against de la Hoya or not at all. Atleast people know who de la Hoya is. Hatton was KO'ed by Mayweather and his last fight wasn't impressive enough to justify a return match with the guy who knocked him out.

Bob Arum is smart, he knows that only one guy, either Cotto or Margarito is going to get a shot at Mayweather. So instead of having two guys angling for the same fight, he's putting them against each other knowing that the winner will be the public's choice to fight Mayweather.

Mayweather refusing to face the winner of Cotto-Margarito will bring a lot of fire to Mayweather's reputation.

My guess is that Mayweather will be envious of the attention Cotto-Margarito receives and will want to face the winner.

So you don't think the best fighter in the world should fight the best fighters in his division? So what if he loses, that's boxing. If Mayweather is still the best fighter in the world, he should have no problem beating Cotto or Margarito. So why not fight them?

His best win is against Kermit freaking Cintron. Its obvious that Arum has been feeding Margarito C-class fighters to make him look good so that when Cotto destroys him it will look impressive. But think about it folks, Does beating Margarito really make you a more legit challenger? Did it for Daniel Santos or Paul Williams? Then why should it for Cotto?
Seriously, I could never understand that myself. I believes it's the bias to bring Cotto up as nothing less than the number 1 challenger. Which he is but there is no need for the bias.

That was then, what about looking forward? I see Cotto willing to face Margarito, while Mayweather isn't jumping through hoops to fight either guy.

You have to realize that Cotto only in the last two years or so has graduated to champion level. He was a prospect only a few years ago; Mayweather has been a champion for ten years. Of course his resume' is going to be better.

Gatti was the CHAMPION you eyebrow-plucking moron..

--Gatti has not been impressive in years and his ass was handed to him 5 years prior to Floyd fighting him in the same fashion by Oscar...Gatti was great when fighting C fighters because he was a C fighter but when fighting B or A fighters Gatti got tore up plain and simple.

Brucelles(one of your Boriqua brotheren) was AN ELIMINATIOR for Gatti's title.

Bruceles was a hyped up fighter who never faced any top 10 competition to even suggest an eliminator for Gatti's wack title give it a break and stop making exuses toti. He had to losses when he faced Floyd to bums that even wouldn't be recognized in their own homes. He was no competition and was sent to the slaughterhouse for Floyd...what does that prove. Bruceles does not have the skills nor power to provoke any questions what so ever for Floyd at 140lbs. When there was far better opponents Floyd could have picked at the time.

At least Mitchell was RANKED at 147..unlike Manuel Gomez..Golden Johnson..and Alphonso Gomez..

What are you ******, dumb, ******ed or all the above...Mitchell spent his entire career at lightweight to junior welterweight and couldn't even beat the best competition at 140lbs. He was at the end of his career at this point and was out of his weight class. Another jackass sent to the slaughterhouse that proved nothing. As far as Golden Johnson and Mauel Gomez...never too impressed by them guys either. And as far as Alfonso Gomez...He beat Gatti did he not...if you want to say Gatti was a good win then you have to acknowledge that Cotto beat a fighter that beat who Mayweather defeated so that basically shows Cotto out did once again Mayweather.

Tony was supposed to fight Mitchell..but he DUCKED him for the UNRANKED Manuel Gomez..

You telling me the one guy everyone was afraid to fight actually ducked sorry ass mitchell...I need to hear that from the horses mouth before I even acknowledge this comment.

Mitchell was preparation for Zab..both slick..fast southpaws..

Mitchell is no preparation for Zab...Mitchell is a good C fighter and while I will give Zab a B rating. Zab's not looking to hot either but I will say that he's far better than Mitchell.

Baldomir was the Welterweight CHAMPION..if you don't understand why Floyd Floyd fought him, then you are too ****** to leave the house..

This is the type of hype that I hate fans to believe in. Baldomir is a good guy and I'm not trying to bash him but between Baldomir and Margarito we all know that the far better and far more dangerous boxer is Margarito and if you don't understand that then you need to stop being a main event fan and start following boxing from all sides.

If Oscar is a shell of himself.. as you put it..then SO IS SHANE MOSLEY..You can't have it both ways maricon..

Shane Mosley is better than Oscar since the days of the amateurs...Mosley has defeated Oscar both in amateurs and in the pros so come on please don't make a fool of yourself by cussing at me and calling me a Maricon cause let's be real kid I could probably have your momma and your girl at the same time dude....just kidding bro. but on the real Shane is also a shell of himself as well I just believe at this point Oscar has more milage than Shane.

David Estrada hurt Shane more than Cotto did..I don't even have to remind you what Vernon Forrest did to a PRIME Shane..

What A caliber fighter does not rise to the occassion....Shane didn't look stellar against Estrada nor Collazo but he was just coming down in weight and we all know what that does to fighters....Jones, Byrd, Tarver....at least Shane defeated the ones put infront of him and has been winning while Oscar's record is not stellar at all in the last couple of years.

Cotto does not seem as excited about fighting Floyd as his huggers..The man can't even say Floyd's name..He refuses to call him out..or even SAY HE WANTS TO FIGHT HIM..
I think Cotto is being Cotto and he did call out Floyd on the P.R. newspapers but at this point he's just fighting and showing the world that he is the legitimate Welter Weight champ by fighting welter weights and not blown up junior welterweights or a cash cow at 150. I think we can all agree at this point that if Cotto takes out Margarito he pretty much has cleaned out the division. Margarito defeated Cintron and Clottey, Quintana defeated Williams and Cotto has beaten Shane, Zab and Quintana ...ad Margarito to the list or if Margarito defeats Cotto then you have the entire cleanup of the division....Floyd has yet to make a dent in the division buddy so that Ring belt right now is looking like a freaking joke just like it looks like a joke at 135 lbs. since they have Casamayor's ass as the champ when Juan was the Man and Now Nate Campbell. It's been a pleasure dude talking a little smack to you but not all of us are off on memorial day so I gotta head back to work...take care and I hope this little lesson just toughens you up for the next verbal beat down. Peace homie.
