Joe is a very good fighter and the fact that most people view him as top 5 p4p reflects this. Having said that, it's wrong that some people rate him so highly in terms of ATG status. He performed badly against Hopkins and against several average fighters and that cannot be overlooked.

Aaron Pryor was a great fighter and may've beaten Ray Leonard. But like Calzaghe vs Jones the fight didn't happen and Leonard went on to achieve great things in other weight classes(as did Jones). Arguello was a better fighter than Kessler or old Hopkins, too.

Calzaghe suffered from not being in a talent-loaded division, but even so you have to judge him, Pryor and everyone else based upon what they do, not based upon what they could've done if things had been different.

      Leonard, Hearns and Duran>Pryor
      Jones and Hopkins>Calzaghe

He pissed all over hopkins, he won that fight clearly.

As for his resume, history and experts will look down on it a lot more kindly than biased 20 year old kids on a website. Just because American kids don't know who Eubank, Richie Woodhall and Robin Reid were does'nt mean they were not good fighters

Joe Calazaghe is an all time great who has never been beaten

exactly so I know the uk fighters a lot more than you that he has fought. Therefore I am in a better position than you to judge Joes resume.

thats why all the boxing media and a ton of professional fighters have came out saying hopkins won not to mention the countless number of fans who know who "clearly" won

face it all time greats don't struggle with over the hill 43 year olds and look like utter **** in their first real challenge.

this is exactly my point, you can't comment on the points i have made regarding joe beating Hopkins of the validity of the fighters he has fought, you just point out where I live. Whats the point of coming on a boxing website if you are not going to disscuss boxing?
