Castillo has some good wins but he lost to Corrales and his win in the rematch is less indicative of who the better fighter was when you take into account his weight advantage.
Now, while it's true that Castillo was old and past his best against Hatton, the fact is that if one guy maintains his high standards to the age of 36, and the other fails to do so, it DOES affect their claim to greatness. An example of this is Rid**** Bowe. To me he looked excellent, but only for a very short period of time, and this affects how highly I rate him. Being good for a year or two doesn't make you equally great as being good for 10 years.

I have already addressed you claims of bias in my previous post. You are unable to respond to this, yet you still repeat it. Yours are the actions of someone with limited intelligence.

Originally posted by Xplosivo View Posteither watch the foreman vs briggs fight or dont comment on it at all, a 46 year old foreman beat briggs but was robbed, again ask anyone who has actually seen the fight and they will tell you no way briggs won..
If you want to discuss robberies, I could've brought up Foreman's decision over Schultz. Foreman, like a true warrior, was stripped of his title for refusing to give the guy a rematch.

For the record, joel Casaymayor is on another level to calzaghe in terms of skills, he can actually punch, he can actually land punches, even though he is way past it knocked one of the most dangerous punchers on the sport the **** out.

Casamayor has all the stereotyped slickness that we have come to associate with "boxing talent", but Calzaghe is the master of in-ring adjustments that not only counter his opponents attack, but open up their defence too. What Calzaghe does is neither flashy, nor obvious, it is subtle and designed not to impress, but to win, and it cannot be taught.

Jesus H mutha******** bloody Christa..
Exist there no middle ground?
This is two extremes arguing. I don't know if Calzaghe is top 25.
He is not in mine, but that's personal because of his girlie style.
Unless you guys have exceptionally good knowledge on every top fighter the last 30 years, I suggest you just say "I don't know".
THose words can be relieving, ya dig?

Casamayor is on another level techincally, have you seen the katsidis fight and the fight ending shot he landed, study the angle on the punch alone, then watch his footwork, then look at the fighters he went in the ring against...
Then talk to me about technique.
Sorry what adjustments did calzaghe make against hopkins, other than to throw a zillion more punches which didnt land?
Please tell me.
