All I'm saying is what most do, even Joe fans, Roy was quicker prime for prime. Pretty reasonable. But Imdazed, the margin your making out is ridiculous and subscribes to a real over hyping of Roy in his prime, sorry. I don't really want to spend the time getting into deep detail on that, criticise if you want but I've spent more time than intended on here recently already, to debate what most agree on. And that's that Roy was quicker and better than Joe prime for prime, by a small - reasonable margin, not massive. Prime for prime it'd be close, Joe would not be outta there by R4 that's ridiculous, his chin, speed, and power with ok hands in his prime, were more than enough to last 12 rounds with Roy.
If you don't accept that fine, keep believing Roy was completely untouchable and Calzaghe way down and not a great (which is really it isn't it). But don't blame ppl for not wanting to entertain that or discuss it too much, because it's crap. I don't wish to speculate on the 'not now' much more to be honest it spirals and takes threads of in tangents.
Reasonably speaking, Joe would have always been a close fight for Roy, and will be now.
go watch the video. dont hate on me for agreeing with ROY!
