      my prediction

pavlik would come out fast and hard, relentlessly throwing one-twos and coming forward pressuring calzaghe , cal would backtrack and go into a shell, he hasnt faced anyone with pavliks power and relentless attack before (except maybe lacy) pavlik would find his mark and wobble calzaghe , maybe even put him down before calzaghe negates pavliks one two attack and starts picking him off with flurries, starting to dominate,

then in the mid to late rounds, with calzaghe enjoying a solid points lead, pavlik would up the tempo again and find his mark, theres no escape for calzaghe this time and pavlik finishes him with some crunching uppercuts and straights

      pavlik TKO 9

Good post. If I was JC I would take the fight with Jones and ride into the sunset with my fatass bank account. How much can the cost of living be in his small town in whales anyways?

Calzaghe's worst performances have been against defensive counter-punchers/spoilers such as Bika and Salem.

Calzaghe did come forwards against Hopkins, but that was only because if he hadn't done so there would have been zero punches in that fight.
lacy was 5'8, pavlik is 6'2 no comparison two different fighters based on

                height alone.

kessler was actually catching calzaghe when he stood his ground and

punched with him, he was dicouraged because he was taking too many

jabs in his mouth he started to back up, hence calzaghe coming forward on

                kessler.

pavlik WILL NOT BACK UP!!!! he got friggin rocked by taylor and instead of

retreating he came forward and actually one the next round and if im not

mistaken could of stopped taylor in that round or the fourth.

he took bombs from miranda and still came forward no jab is going to

discourage pavlik heck repeated right hands wont do it.

Pretty funny if you've seen the Calzaghe-Lacy fight. Relentless attack! Power!
