Because boxing is on average exceedingly dull to the average sports fan, same with Hockey and its decline. If the average boxing fight was more entertaining, the fans would come. It is up to boxing sanctioning bodies to make rules promoting more excitement in the ring.

Whether you like the Heavyweight division or not, that's the most important division. I believe that great American heavyweight boxers who rule the division is the key to mainstream success for boxing in American media.

It's so low that Pacquiao Marquez 2 only did 250,000 buys!

            Oh wait...it did double that.

As for Pavlik the guy is a good fighter but no personality whatsoever.
              He does have that.

Give me a break. America love white athletes. From TV and commercials, to boosted attendance when a white athlete is present, to jobs involved in their respected sports after their playing days are done.

Mayweather and DLH are not white athletes and are popular. No one is suggesting that you can't be popular if you aren't white. The question is would a white clone of either of these guys get more attention? I think the answer is yes.

You see the same kind of thing in hip-hop as well, a black dominated field. Eminem is a talented artist but anyone honestly say they he would have the same success if he wasn't white?

                      Your a Joke.

Reading your threads and your thoughts on the fight game is poor comic relief at best, you should probably do us all a favor and seriously consider sky diving without a parachute.
