According to promoter Frank Warren's recent column in The Sun, IBO/IBF light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver is the third option for Joe Calzaghe's next fight in November, believed by many to be the final bout of his career. The other two front-runners are WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik and former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. [details]

If its his last fight, then he should try to get it with Pavlik. And if Pavlik blows him off, then Calzaghe should let the whole boxing community know what a puss Pavlik is. Pavlik afraid of a man older then him? LOL
He's got a right to be afraid, but you know where I'm getting. If Pavlik is this so called bad ass who crushed Miranda and Taylors dreams, then why doesn't pavlik believe he can do it to Calzaghe? LOL!!! Because Calzaghe would be the won to crush Pavliks dream.
Run pavlik, so we have these useless fights like roy and tarver to talk about.

Pavlik will knockout Calzaghe
Calzaghe will get KTFO by Pavlik. Calzaghe cant take Pavliks punch. Calzaghe couldnt take an old Hopkins punch.. he definitely couldnt stand in the trenches with Pavlik. Pavlik is nothing to play with. When it comes to finishing the job Pavlik is surgical.. Calzaghe wont have the grace period to recover after being knocked down as he did against an old non-punching Hopkins. Calzaghe wants no part of The Ghost.
