Because the WBC is the main belt mate, Who cares about the WBO/IBF belt?
WBC carries more weigh than those two, Just think about it.

If Haye captures the WBC belt then the Wlad fight will happen quicker then if Haye tried to get up in the WBO/IBF rankings.

This is purely subjective(coming back to the argument of fighter making the belt and not vice versa), and more importantly, irrelevant.

Haye wants to fight Wlad, right? If he wants to fight Wlad he should pursue the ranking where Wlad is a champion, logically speaking.

If Haye is gonna be ranked at WBC, his chances of actually fighting Wlad are getting even slimmer then if he was not ranked at all. He will have the organization rules against him and his only(and very far fetched chance) of fighting Wlad is if he captures the WBC belt and tries to unify. But chances of that, taking into account the usual scrutiny and the opposition, are not very good.

So??? Where in my post did i say Wlad isnt the Man to beat? I repeat the WBC belt is the belt most fighters want because of the history behind it...not the WBO or IBF.

I dont care who carries the belt, Wlad is the champ at HW for me.

There is nothing more better than someone like Haye going after the WBC belt and actually winning it then facing the champ at HW in Wlad who has the WBO/IBF belts.

I dont see what the big deal is, Haye has the WBA/WBC and recently the WBO belt at crusierweight...in reality he would be ranked in the top 15 of the WBA and WBC ranking and not the WBO or IBF because he never really fought under them, So the WBC is the way to go.

Meh, you would be very naive to think, if Haye wins(and that is a very big if), that Jose will let him unify.
Thus you are pretty much admitting that Haye does not want to fight Wlad.

I mean, if he did, he could fought any of the stiffs with a name that are ranked in the IBF/WBO and he would have gotten his chance to go against Wlad. Going for wbc is like admiting that he does not want it with Klitschko.

First of all am not David Haye so i dont know if he wants to fight Wlad or not, Secondly i think it would be very ****** of him to go after Wlad unless he has 3 or 4 fights at HW.

If he fought bum after 3 or 4 fights before going after Wlad you guys would still be here and critise him, So NO matter what he does he would get critise so i think he has made the right decision to go after the best belt then go after the best guy at his new weight, If you think that means he wanted to avoid Wlad then so be it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
