      keep in mind it took 2 whole years from the time Holyfield abandoned the cruiserweight division until the time he won the heavyweight title.

      he had a lot more work to do than Haye to become a ready heavyweight. Remember it was a 190 pound cutoff that Holy fought at. holyfields heavyweight career actually began at roughly the same weight that Haye fights at as a cruiser.

      that being said, Holyfield only took 3 months from the time he beat De Leon until his heavyweight debut.... there is no good reason for David Haye to **** around for 10 months before he fights at heavyweight.

        Yeah he beat some good heavyweights before his title like Tillis, Dokes and Stewart. I think Haye will have at least 2 fights before getting a title shot, I think a fight with McCall will happen soon and then maybe JCG
