I think Cotto can outbox Margarito. That being said, I've seen Cotto hurt, I've never seen Margarito hurt.
That's why I don't think it will be a walkover. Cotto got on his bike late against Mosley when he was hurt, I can truly see Margarito jumping on him then.

Or the other scenario, Margarito starts slow, and Cotto builds up a lead and uses his ever-improving jab to win, but if Margarito rocks him and it's a war, Marg wins.

You didn't say anything that hasn't been said. You presented no details. You presented no break-down of the fight to support your thoughts on the outcome.

Cotto must get inside of the arcing shots of Margarito, consistently, and he must do something that he doesn't do very often and that is clinch, often.

Margarito is a professional can opener. That's what he does. It would be assinine to even think about trying to avoid one of his barrages dancing around on the outside. Each punch comes from a different angle. It's a joke.

The truth is Cotto has some very devastating body work - and it's that instant AIDS I've talked about in the past. His all torso shoe-shine where he laces up the opponents back, shoulders, lower abdomen, hips, ect, with everything he's got. That borderline business. That's the stuff for Margarito.

Cotto needs to lunge in with his combos, touch up every part of Margarito's frame with every ounce of power he's got, tie him up, get back out, and repeat. He just might be able to break something if he focuses enough.

I know Cotto's gettin kinda happy on his Boxing though. I just think there's a heavy risk factor involved there. Even the best Boxers get caught and it's not the sort of position Cotto wants to be in. He needs to take his body destroyer mode to a whole new level, focus and stay there.

I swear.. If we see Cotto get blasted out and caught trying to Box Margarito I'll always believe that the June 2007 Cotto who fought Judah -when they were supposed to fight the first time - would have had a better chance than the July 2008 Cotto who had that Mosley/Gomez business in his mind..

Cotto needs to try and hurt Margarito. I mean hurt him. If anyone can do that it's Miguel Cotto. He's got the style and force to carry it off - but trying to outslick Margarito will be like balancing on a razor blade for 36 minutes. Cotto needs to tuck his chin and rip at Margarito's body like a shark trying to take down an elephant. He needs a firm gameplan. The people are right about that. If he starts making **** up or switching there will be blood.
