Whenever margarito comes up against a good fighter he struggles, you don't have to be a defensive genious to beat him, Paul williams certainly isn't. cotto has fought in many different ways over the years, back foot, front foot, high workrate like against torres and judah, or a more methodical approach. Either way I think your vastly underrating cotto.

Don't get me wrong cotto will go through sticky patches and maybe lose some rounds especailly in the later rounds cos he is going up against a world class pressure fighter, but I wouldn't be surprised if cotto makes this look pretty easy and thoroughly out-boxes marg. for the majority of the night, remember you don't need to use the whole ring to out-box someone. I can see cotto pelting marg with combos and turning him constantly with subtle body movement and superior footwork and handspeed. My prediction is cotto stops margarito late, for facial damage/cuts, this is only my opinion
What are you some kind of life coach? Excuse me, yes, I do have to keep repeating it. It's called courtesy and respect for others and I won't expect them to know everything I've said here. Not everyone reads every post on every page.

This is a little ridiculous. Addison is a clear Cotto hater. All I've seen from him in this thread is repetitive nonsense and belittling of the opinion of others, as long as it doesn't coincide with his own.

Margarito is a second-stringer. Sure, he beats the cuts but he isn't good enough to play. Cotto is head and shoulders above this guy. You talk about Cotto making all these boxing mistakes? I suppose Margarito is the type of precision boxer that can take advantage of that, right? He is defensive-minded enough, too, to avoid being taken out by just being hit with the cleaner, harder shots all night by a more persistent and determined foe.

You're pretty blind thanks to your hatred for Cotto. But, hey, whatever; it's you that is going to look like a fool at the end of the day when Margarito is completely outclassed. Expect a knockout--for Cotto.

Also, I can already tell that you don't know much about good fighters: you think that Lindros was a good fighter. That's jokes.

Ok, so you are one of the people out there in the small minority who thinks that Margarito is higher in class than Shane Mosley or Zab Judah.

Now you're saying all at once that Margarito is in his prime - when he's visibly slowed down, and Mosley and Judah are past theirs and therefore no longer impressive.

No im not, im sure you don't need to answer every response, especailly when its the same repetitive stuff, you should go back and read it, from the looks of it you certainly have the time it starts getting ridiculous, most people just want to state their opinion

You must not know anything about Hockey. Maybe you're one of those wanna-be Canadian Americans. That doesn't take the place of the real thing, unfortunately. Buddy, talk all the **** you want about boxing (even though you obviously don't know what you are talking about), but keep to the shallow end when it comes to Hockey because calling Lindros a good fighter...hahaha. The best in the last 50 years at that! What a joke.

Will you stop putting words in my mouth? You seem to have a problem with it. No, I don't think that. For the most part atleast. I do think Margarito is a tougher fight for Cotto than either of them though. Really because I don't know about his boxing skills. I do not know if Cotto can box Marg for 12 rounds.

Nope. I am not. Have fun with that though.

Andrew Hartley could beat Cotto. Cotto is a bum.
