Is it me or is Mundine right up there on the top of everyone's 'Needs to get KTFO list'?? Even the Aussies!!!

Pavlik IMO would KO him, Mundine is using the school bully technique of going down a weight to try and pick up a belt knowing full well he aint ever going to beat Kessler. Unfortunatley, Kelly is big for a MW, hits harder than he does and can take a good shot..and in the most important department, Heart and character, there is no contest.. Pavlik hands down

Judging solely by his record I really wouldn't know since the level of opposition has only been semi-decent if you know what I mean. Maybe someone can be more specific regarding which areas Mundine has improved so much?
first of all i have to say mundine wont beat pavlik, he will put up a good fight, and he will expose a bit of pavliks one dimensional gameplan, but i think pavliks pressure will be too much and he will stope mundine or win a UD.

Areas he has improved: power for sure, he stopped sam soliman, who took winky wright to a close decision, and has hung with world class fighters (you will know him from the contender, he beat sakio in a previous fight a few years back) and he has effectively ruined soliman, he was a different fighter after mundine had his way with him. he wobbled danny green with some rights (danny is known for a great chin) and has stopped several other solid fighters.

speed is another area, he completely schooled green with his hand and foot speed and has dazzled some of the journeyman he has taken on recently with his speed. mundine has always had great natural speed though, it has showed in nearly all his fights.

his chin is much better since ottke knocked him cold, he took some of danny greens shots , danny is a good puncher. and took several shots from a crude but hard hitting argentinian last year. he also took a few from nader hamdan who isnt a bad puncher.

skill: as mundine started out very late (25) he has skyrocketed as far as skill goes, he has great natural boxing ability and has put a bit of polish on his shots and technique now.

so all in all, mundine is a very good boxer, world class in fact, and i can see him beating miranda , giving kessler, calzaghe and pavlik good fights before losing, and perhaps fighting out an extremely close fight with taylor that could definitley go either way. (very similar styles) i can also see him stopping sturm and abraham.

        so there you have it

How will Mundine expose his gameplan if you have picked him to loose by decision or TKO?

Have you totally forgot the punches Kessler landed on Mundine. Some massive bombs and he took them well. His chin is good. No one can say it isn't, unless there being total tools and comparing him as an amateur, which he was against Ottke.

I actually disagree on him loosing to Pavlik. I think he will beat him by a comftorable UD. Mundine will be to strong in this division. And if Kessler couldn't, Kelly won't be able to knock him out. Although i do think Abraham is the only one in the division who could beat him. I think he walks right through Sturm. Winky is a very hard fight for him also. But Mundine is the bigger man so should win.

Not going to happen pal. Don't bet on it either.

This fight is going 12 rounds. Mundines defensive skills are to slick. Kelly will get hit with a lot of lead rights in this fight, mark my words.

Must have watched another fight , I dont remember seeing Danny Green wobbled at all even when Green slipped on the wet canvas and Choc had a total free shot Green just shugged his shoulders and said wtf , never shook Green at all entire fight from what I could see .

He didn't get wobbled but you can't question Greens chin. Pavlik on the other hand? Taylor dropped him in the 2nd round.

                  i think thats questionable

mundine continually does this, calls out the top dog in the division without any intention or hope of fighting them just so he can look crediable & pass off fighting bums by saying that no one wants to fight him. done it before with calzaghe & keesler
His move down to middle weight is just a blant dodge to save face & not admit that his ducking keesler, because if he fought keesler again and lost (which i have no doubt he would) his career would be over & it'd also prove he never could step up to ture world class

I also dont think his improved near as much as everyone says, he still has an inability to throw sustained combinations & cant work the body. The Soliman fight he had the chance to end it in the second round, but instead through wild hooks when trying to throw upwards of more than 4 punches, what it ended up taking him 9 rounds??to put away the heavly dazed monkey like soliman. i Also think if he fought a real pressure volume fight such as calzaghe (or even pavlik - his relentless) he'd get swamped & stopped due to his cover up non counter punching defence, his only chance woud be beating them to the punch each time - but that would require heart and risk

lads stop hugging his balls, the guys a joke who has no respect for anyone & doesnt deserve any media attention from his ridiculous mimics of other boxers
