Forget Kessler, Mundine Wants Kelly Pavlik

Anthony Mundine has informed the WBA that he has no intention of facing Mikkel Kessler for a second time. Mundine previously dropped a decision to Kessler a few years and the Dane is currently the mandatory challenger to his "regular" WBA super middleweight title. Joe Calzaghe is the WBA's "super" champion at 168. [details]

Agreed. If Ottke could knock him unconsciuos for 10 minutes with one punch, imagine what a Kelly-bomb would do.......

I'm glad Mundine finally steps up in competetion, so I can see him get destroyed.

Yeah, he is one of my all time favorites.

I got so much respect for that guy.
Sad to see him get knocked out by a tomato can like Alfonso Gomez.

I'd favour Pavlik by stoppage too.

So Kessler didnt want to fight Miranda cause he was going to fight Mundine now hes not going to fight Kessler to fight Pavlik. Kessler should have just stuck to fighting Miranda for all of this crap.

Yeah he took it with class though. He took the losses as well as the wins. His best days were far behind him, but nobody can beat a warriors spirit.
