Forget Kessler, Mundine Wants Kelly Pavlik

mundine continually does this, calls out the top dog in the division without any intention or hope of fighting them just so he can look crediable & pass off fighting bums by saying that no one wants to fight him. done it before with calzaghe & keesler
His move down to middle weight is just a blant dodge to save face & not admit that his ducking keesler, because if he fought keesler again and lost (which i have no doubt he would) his career would be over & it'd also prove he never could step up to ture world class
I also dont think his improved near as much as everyone says, he still has an inability to throw sustained combinations & cant work the body. The Soliman fight he had the chance to end it in the second round, but instead through wild hooks when trying to throw upwards of more than 4 punches, what it ended up taking him 9 rounds??to put away the heavly dazed monkey like soliman. i Also think if he fought a real pressure volume fight such as calzaghe (or even pavlik - his relentless) he'd get swamped & stopped due to his cover up non counter punching defence, his only chance woud be beating them to the punch each time - but that would require heart and risk
lads stop hugging his balls, the guys a joke who has no respect for anyone & doesnt deserve any media attention from his ridiculous mimics of other boxers
You requested a response mate, here it is.
While everything you have said makes sense and is accurate in one way or another.
The general consensus on here is that Mundine will do this for the rest of his career. That consensus is wrong. He knows what he has to do to silence his critics. And he will do it. Hes not going to be fighting Nievas for the rest of his career or Sammy Soliman. This fight was ignited because Soliman ignited a rematch clause.
I will tell you now. Rod Barker doesn't understand this concept though lol. But here it is. In Mundines next fight he will fight either Sturm (most likely, with WBA deal promoting him to mandatory) (Winky least likely, in fact this won't happen, word on the street is winky is fight vernon forrest), (Pavlik - Spoke **** about him, and Abraham is fighting Mirand and that leaves Kelly with no one after Lockett).
Sure hes a total tool, dumb, thats obvious.
But this guy is a talented fighter.
And if you show some faith by the end of his career you will be happy.
Conclusion : He will step it up, and that time is very close. Hes a complete fighter in a division with a lot of fighters who are good at 1 or 2 things and lack in every other department. His biggest test will be Arthur Abraham, but he will be able to cope with everything else.Comment

Sure maybe ur right that mundine wont fight the likes of hamen & soliman for the rest of his career but i can guarentee you he wont make a good go of his potential by fighting the best, his already signaled it out by saying he wants to win titles in middle weight n light heavy - his only after alphabet glory & the only way he'll acheive this is by fighting the weakest meaningless champions. U maybe be right that he could secure a fight with sturm but he will never fight someone like pavlick or Abraham as he fears their knockout ablitity (heard he coped a pretty good one in sparring a couple of weeks ago n had to lay off full contact hahaha)n plus another lose for mundine will proberly be his career espesh if it comes off a knockout. He;ll never fight winky as winkies only after big fights n big paydays - something mudine wont give himYou requested a response mate, here it is.

N no i dont think he is a complete fighter, his not a natural combination puncher & im yet to see any signifcant body work or precise hooking from him. I really think a pressure fight would overwelm him and stop him. I also disagree with ur opion on mundine having better power than miranda - ur really only basing that on the sam soliman fight(if not what?), n that first knockdown didnt even knock him out, has mundine ever knocked somone out cold off one punch before? Miranda has. actually i think miranda would beat mundine, as the mundine would run all night as in every other world class fight his been in once he wears a few
conclusion - Mundines nowhere near as good as you think he is, everytime his stepped up to world class level his run scared. He will never take a fight he knows will be competitive or come with some form of risk - he;ll finish his career as an alphabet chump having ducked all the real champs
His also a ***ing wanker who dosnt repect anyone & should stop making such bull**** claimsComment

He will fight the best and he will perform well.
He has speed, power and great ring movement. No he has been doing well in sparring and im not to sure what your saying. In fact no one has been able to give Choc problems in sparring over the past 3 years.
Don't discount this guy. He will fight some big names at MW. And im prepared to lay some money on the line that he comes up trumphs!Comment
