I recall Floyd exclusively working off the jab and peppering Hatton a couple of rounds before he put him to bed.

          The most complete fighter

I am pretty surprised that this question is being asked. He has the best defense we have seen in years (possibly ever), insane speed, lands punches from every distant and angle, and he keeps his eyes open and on his opponent at all times. I really don't even like the guy that much, but it is hard to argue against the fact that he is the most complete fighter out there. I can however knock on him for the De La Hoya rematch. For him to be have a shot at top 10 greatness he needs to beat Cotto and maybe someone else.

I write about this and many other topics on my website The Final Bell.

Pretty damn complete. What he lacks in power at the higher weights, he makes up for in being fast and accurate enough to pinpoint his punches. He doesn't always use all his tools, guess he isn't always challenged enough to need to.

Look at 1:12 that opening was created by jabs all night long. Look at Diego try to slap the jab away, but gets hit with a left hook. That sir is what a setup jab does.

Look at 2:53 that sir is a double jab, that leads to an opening for a straight right. That is called a set up jab. And it also included a feint.

Look at the setup jabs that opened Zab up, at 3"13. Again a set up jab.

Look at the range finder jab at 3:32

Feint jab at 4:04 that sets up the right hands.

And floyd on his toes at 4:12

                  need I say more?

just watch floyd mayweather vs justin jukko, and see how effectiev his jab was, or watch him vs gatti, which he used it as a hard jab. i can go on forever how different he uses his jabs, that can lead to a right hand or a left hook, and not to mention his jabs to the body are amazing. shawn, just quit while you're ahead.

Not using your jab CONSTANTLY... only means your not a stereo typical boxer... it doesnt mean your not a complete fighter.

And no, not everyone knew what was gonna happen in the fight as

                      1) they all were like “Mayweather can only win by decision”.
                      2) Find me a post where anyone predicted Mayweather would stay comfortably on the inside, fighting even dirtier than Hatton.

Finally, like I already pointed, Being aggressive only when you need to, does not mean you dont have a good offensive game, especially when it looks GREAT everytime you use it.

I didn't say I was expecting a knock out because I wasn't.. what I meant to say is that everyone knew Hatton was gonna get his ass kicked.. most thought by wide U.D.
