If the fight comes off, Vitali will win by TKO if he is even 75% as good and powerful as he was. After the fight, and if he wins. I want to see him fight Valuev to unify. Both brothers will have (2) titles and the dream will be fullfilled. And, only then will I accept a Vitali retirement. When Peter gets KO'd I want everyone to realize who the real champ is because as good as Wlad is: He couldnt KO Sam Peter.

I honestly couldn't give a **** about Sam Peter. This fight represents more time wasted before there is a real heavyweight champion. By the way if Lennox Lewis came out of retirement would you support him having an automatic shot at the WBC title? After all not only did he retire as champion, he also defended the title against legitimate contenders.

This emeritus bull**** sums it up about the green strap for me. It's bad enough Floyd Mayweather getting it, but at least Floyd went after the WBC title in six division. At least Floyd put forth effort in support of the brand. Three WBC fights of which one was a loss, one was a vacant title and one was against Danny "OMFG" Williams only hurts the WBC at heavyweight. Klitschko's stain on the title looked like it could have been wiped away somewhat by Sam Peter who is a hard worker who came up the tough way despite his limitations but no, I guess that retiring repeatedly in order to avoid fighting Hasim Rahman is exactly what the WBC is looking for in a spokesperson.

exactly, what was that bit about him hiring rudy guliani for helping him run for mayor, and now he's going to fight again, and fight a guy that is on top of his game after such a long layoff?? doesn't make good business sense to me, especially when the fight is going to get postponed about 2-5 times...........

Yes you're corrct on most points. WK wasn't trying to KO Peter, if he'd tried, he'd have succeeded. If you run the video again you'll see quite plainly that he's only punching about half-power, and never left himself open because of a missed punch. Peter caught nearly ALL of them.

AND, only about 2 days later, in a TV interview Manny Steward said that WK was fighting exactly to instructions, that he was punching only at 60% power so as not to leave himself open.
