Oscar never beat a welterweight as good as Mayweather. If he couldn't beat Mosley, he couldn't beat Floyd.

Floyd beats Oscar at 130 but vice versa at 154 or 147 Floyd was a different beast at 130 he was the complete package and had good powr but now he is more defensive at 154 or 147 and that benefits Oscar if he doesnt gas early

considering how close the fight was last may i'd have to say oscar in a close decision.

After the first 8 rounds i had it 5 rounds to 3 for oscar...

around the 8th he lost his stamina and stopped his jab...had he had youth on his side he would have won the fight down the stretch.

in his prime it would be roughly 8 rounds to 4 rounds (at best) but more likely to be 7 rounds to 5 rounds for oscar de la hoya.

it would still be close even if they were both in their primes; i just think oscar would slide by and get the nod in close, tough fight.
