    If Margarito beat Cotto...

you know that there would be a rematch before anything.....

    You should know that....!!

      so what that tell you.....

If Floyd was to win a middle weight title and stay undefeated... that would be incredible.....

and you are saying that Floyd is ducking Welther Weights to fight a Middle Weight....
if floyd is so small the why didnt he won the 126 title?
oscar winning the 6 titles in different weight classes and floyd doing it its exactly the same it doesnt matter if oscar is a few inches taller

He actually probably could have considering how long he stayed at 130...

He probably should have too... that would have been one more thing that would have been impressive with his career.

No ****, what does heighth have to do with anything. Diego Corrales was like 6 ft in the 130 division and no one says anything about that.

All bull**** aside, if Floyd did that, It would be impressive. I still don't believe floyd has the best resume in terms of opponents faced in his generation, but it would be impressive.

It has nothing to do with heigh but frame. Oscar struggled for eleven fights early in his career to make the 130lb weight limit so he can win a WBO super-featherweight paper title. Then he quickly moved up.

Most of his fights have been fought at welterweight and jr.middle and that makes him the bigger framed guy. For the Floyd fight, he was like 164 four weeks before the fight.

He is not only taller but NATURALLY the bigger guy. Inches have nothing to do with it. Mike Tyson is only 5'11 yet he is the Bigger guy then Paul Williams or Magarito or anybody 6feet tall below the heavyweight division. Extreme example but I had to use Tyson once people start talking heigh and inches when comparing who the bigger guy is.

Still if Floyd become a 6-division champion......he will be the only 6-division champion that went undefeated while doing it. Now that's historic and significant. That accomplishment will stick on his resume forever once the historians start making up their mind where to place him in the ATG-books.
yeah i forgot about the undefeated part oscar campaigned and fought the best at welterweight thats why he is a household name and people werent too mad with the felix sturm bs decision after all he did fought the undisputed middleweight champion after the fight something floyd wouldnt do
but the undefeated part its a good thing if floyd fought and defeated sturm without bs decision then he could retire and be considered an atg
bcause unlike u im not underrating sturm he is a very good boxer who has troubles with punchers but his jab is great

When did I say that????? I'm not underrating him....he is a solid middleweight just like Ruiz was a solid heavyweight. But once Roy or Floyd dominate those guys, all of a suddent these guys turn into bums and the next question becomes - Why didn't Roy fight the real HW champ, why didn't Floyd fight the real MW champ in Pavlike?

So if Cotto loses to Margarito

a rematch would be in order for COTTO VS. MARGARITO.... for sometime in December or early next year......
                    and if Cotto Wins..

Cotto would probably have to fight Margarito one more time to break the tie and to build his hype back up again after losing to a 5 lost Margarito.

and by that time it would be late into 2009....

So if Cotto and Margarito are tie up for all 2009....

Who should Floyd Fight...that would be a impressive win universally...
because everybody knows cotto is the only fighter left in the WW division that would be a impressive win for Floyd.... Universally .....???

Do any of you honestly think that Floyd would take on Sweet Pea( lb 4 lb #1) , trinidad, quartey and mosley all in their prime.
