Agree on all fronts. If Cotto loses, then Tony should be the one fighting Floyd for WW supremacy. If Floyd don't agree to this, then he should get the hell out the division and go on to other things.

Like moving up to middleweight to fight Felix Sturm for the WBA title.

        Sheesh

PBF is too small for 160. He didn't even go to the full 154 for DLH last time cuz he woulda been too slow to do his thing. He'd lose to any decent MW fighter. If Cotto loses he needs to face Margarito, who would obviously be the top contender. He'd likely duck that fight though, but he could halfway justify it if he faced Shane.

De la Hoya is not 5'8 and a Naturally a jr. welther weight.....

De la hoya fought Majority of his fights at Junior Middle Weight....
            so what that tell you.....

If Floyd was to win a middle weight title and stay undefeated... that would be incredible.....

and you are saying that Floyd is ducking Welther Weights to fight a Middle Weight....

that would be Floyd's 6th weight Class...
i voted no. I aint no hater, that **** don't work on me. if Cotto loses, then Tony is without a doubt #1 contender. This is the fight that should be made, If Floyd rejects it, then he can do what he wants in other divisions and leave the WW division.

yeah i guess but de la hoya already did it
floyd has a chance to make true history if he beats sturm fair
unlike oscar who got a bs decision but sturm is no piece of cake
i really dont care about the whole moving up in weight classes and handpicking titles but if u think about it after calzaghe vacates at 168 oscar could add his 7th weight class championship for the vacant title against an average opponent
                now that would be historic

That's why it would be a great fight... not excitement wise, but the prospect of such a great test to Mayweather would be great to watch.

Can he make up for his size disadvantage with his skill advantage?

Sturm has a great jab I hear... bad for Floyd.

If he won, that would be against all odds I think.

For those saying Pavlik... he is the legitimate middleweight champion, but in reality, Floyd doesn't stand a chance. This would be a fight for a paper belt, but it would be an amazing challenge for Floyd, which is why it would be a good fight.

I don't know if people can say that Cotto is the harder fight for Floyd than Felix Sturm. Sturm is HUGE compared to Cotto and has a style that would both Floyd moreso than Cotto's IMO (The more jabs, the better!)

Yes he could if he is up for it.

Still if Floyd become a 6-division champion......he will be the only 6-division champion that went undefeated while doing it. Now that's historic and significant. That accomplishment will stick on his resume forever once the historians start making up their mind where to place him in the ATG-books.
