You can't say from a fantasy matchup that fighter X would beat fighter Y. Two years ago Joe gave an absolute masterclass boxing lesson to Lacy. And before you say anything, NO, I am not comparing Lacy to Hops, but I think Joe would have given ANYONE problems at that point. Who's to say Joe wouldn't have smacked Hopkins all over the ring?

There is no way you can ever be certain in boxing, and if you could, we'd all be millionaires.

For what its worth i think Calzaghe will be seen as better fighter than Haye even when they are both retired & i also think Haye will get KTFO when he steps upto HW ,i dont think he will be successfull infact i can see him killing himself to make the CW limit again in a few years cause the HW division is to much for him

Ha ha ha! Before I say anything, all the following fights would be close, and might come out different on different occasions, but:

Calzaghe v Hopkins - Calzaghe Decision
Calzaghe v Toney - Calzaghe Decision
Calzaghe v Jones - Jones Decision

Posted about all of that lot a ton of times, still recovering from the critical mauling I received for my Toney opinion, but thats what I think. Gotta go to the pub now though, so Terrible, feel free to do your worst while I'm gone!
