It has actually been shown to raise the aggressiveness levels in people. I'm not talking about snapping peoples' necks for looking at them funny, but a heightened level of aggression. It also gives the user a feeling of invincibility. If that was the case RJJ would have taken many more risks than he did in the ring. And I'm not talking about the fights that he chose, I mean the way that he fought them.
Putting to rest the "Roid Jones Jr" ****.

damn, i knew about andro and the deal, but u added a lot more **** on it
which is why he was never suspended.... it was also LEGAL, WHEN it was in his body... as the fight that he tested positive was in 2001 oe 2002 and hey didnt ban the substance til 2004...
so it was legal while it was in his system, and he never tested positive for it again....Comment

Well Shane mosley seems like a nice guy who isn't so agressive. Mistake me if i'm wrong, but i believe Mosley had a needle or two stuck in his ass.It has actually been shown to raise the aggressiveness levels in people. Wikipedia is banned as a source for academic work in most universities in the UK and US.They consider it a precursor, not a steroid in itself. However, as I already posted in the main post androstenedione was tested and shown to have no muscle building effects beyond normal supplements whatsoever (in dosages that were available). They only produced testosterone, which would make it an anabolic precursor, in the most extreme cases where someone was taking the maximum possible dosage per day (300g). Even in that case it still offered no benefits to strength or muscle size.
Also, lucky, you got any references of the most intelligent people in the world denouncing Wikipedia? Most of the more intelligent people that I've talked to agree that it is a great source, but is to be taken at its face value. If you don't trust something on the site you can check its source (the citations are open to the public). If you find something wrong you can fix it.
Not saying that the article in question isn't accurate though.
As for Roy, if the substance he took wasn't banned in boxing then we have no basis to criticise him really.Comment

Your point about agressiveness levels proves nothing though. If Roy had taken steroids there is no guarantee he would be some sort of snarling shouting beast, people can control themselves. Also, boxing is by its nature aggressive, Roy punches people for a living.
Lots of the other things you say are perfectly reasonable, as I've said, the main question is not whether the subsyance was a steroid, its whether he was allowed to take it. In snooker, beta blockers are banned, but they're as far from steroids as its possible to be.Comment
