How so? Money could buy all of Penns buddies and get them to whup his ass for Money.

If you got money you got power. Last time a i checked a guy calling himself money is making more then UFC fighters making 5 figures a fight.

There is no way a athlete even if he had boxing experience could go from a sport to boxing and recieve hype at all, let alone the hype brock lesnar got when he went from wrestling/football to mma. It shows which sport is less worthy
Youi don't no nothing about MMA. Everyone here sees that. If you did you wouldn't have said that it is a fake sports and that you can't make someone submit in a triangle choke. Maybe an MMA fighter should put it on your peanut head and see if you'll tap. Your perspective on MMA is soo off but yet you say you watch it. Get your facts straight before you talk smack. Get your websites that you're reffering to and getting knowledge from in order cause they don't seem legit

          I agree Sugar.

The reson Lesnar was hyped is that he is a world class amateur wrestler and wrestling is a big part of MMA.

Some of the tough guys here need to go into a MMA or BJJ gym and drop a challenge. Also, please tape it for our amusement.

MMa has plenty of boring fights ans Sean Sherk is responsible for a lot of them. All he does is take people down make sure they don't hit him, he doesn't hit anyone eithe and if they get up he does the proccess all over again. BJ Penn is also a mediocre fighter that thinks to much of himself.

Boxers do this sometimes too, but the whole entire UFC is hostile towards boxing.

I remember after the Hatton Mayweather fight, the next day a UFC promotional report started out degrading the fight and saying that the UFC event would be much better. Thats just disgusting.

I like mma, but I am tired of the UFC trying to constantly trying to make competition with boxing, when it is not need whatsoever. Dana White would do well to shut up and pay his fighters more, because he pays them jack **** compared to what they deserve and what the UFC makes. oh yea, and if one of your fighters wants to retire or go into another sport(Randy Couture, Anderson Silva), how about you stop trying to control them just to make more money.
Does anyone realize that Dana is an ex boxer?

As far as putting together good overall PPVs right now you gotta give it to the UFC. For those talking about hug fests and ****...you obviously are being biased towards boxing (which is understandable) and you don't watch MMA at all.

The May PPV has 4 solid fights on there that would or could be a main event on any other card whether it be on Spike or PPV. When was the last time boxing put on a card with 3-4 meaningful & exciting fights preceding the Main Event?

                    Go ahead...I'll wait.........

Everybody I've seen bash the UFC on here have just made ridiculous statements simply because they don't know anything about it. I've been a huge martial arts follower since I can remember so people who don't know about grappling, wrestling, ju jitsu, etc will automatically throw it down as hugging and what not.

The irony is I still hold boxing in higher regard, but to diss the UFC is just proving boxing fans are mad whether they admit it to themselves or not. I await the day Golden Boy or Top Rank can put together cards the UFC has been putting together for the past 3 yrs.

The more people talk about Floyd, the more powerful this man gets. I'm sure he's loving all of this attention, free promotion and ascension to power.

There's no such thing as BAD PRESS or NEGATIVE PUBLICITY. It's the same as it's opposite.

If I was FLoyd I'd fight De La Hoya and then fight JUAN DIAZ at 147. LMAO! Imagine how much attention and press he'd get then? CH-CH-CHING!
