8 mil wasnt a packaged deal man.. geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

ive provided that link about the offers prior to the Mitchell and JUdah fights several times . Arum was STILL with Floyd for about TWO fights when he made those offers to him. Everytime I provide it (as well as others who have) all retracters say is the "well, Bob Arum is a liar, blah blah blah.."

im not looking for it, but if you keep asking someone will produce it, swear.

He's about 6 on my list. You have to put Williams and Quintana over him since Williams beat him, Quintana beat Williams, and you also have Mosley above Quintana because Quintana got destroyed by Cotto and Mosley lost barely.

Mayweather is #1 and Cotto is #2. I agree with everything that Ryan said though.

You can not sit there and claim nobody knew who Tony was at the time they offered him 8 Million dollars. I am sorry but Promoters especially Arum, do not fork out that kind of money on someone that nobody knows.

Back to the topic, ranking the WW's 1) Floyd 2)Cotto 3)Margarito

Ok, he didn't look great against Clottey & lost against Williams but I think he's DEFINTELY ELITE in the WW division! There are fighters with more skill than him, (Mosley, Judah, Quintana etc) but looking at the most recent accomplishments you HAVE to put Margarito up there...
              History lesson dude?

              Where?

Fake Floyd ducked Marg and settled for less against Mitchell, Baldo and Judah.

Post your sources because in the past it has been shown that Fake Floyd did indeed fight for less just to avoid marg.

              You're a funny noob.

              Continue making things up.

Now where's your history lesson pretender?

Yes, but it depends what you call top welterweight. Top Welterweight would be top 3 for me. Though if it's the top 10, then yeah.

Margarito is a tremendous foe. He has a chance of beating anybody in the welterweight division. He's a player, and he's at the top of the class. His primary weaknesses are speed and defense - but he more than compensates with a tremendous chin, unrelenting volume, and significant punching power.
