I was speaking in domestic terms. I mentioned it in the thread, before I made the poll. Sorry for the confusion.

The numbers could be argued easily... But the point is that Mayweather fans shouldn't be trying to put the numbers as an Excuse.. I understand that easily.

But I think even though all of puerto rico and a large number of all the boxing fans... would pick this fight up...

IT WILL be EVEN BIGGER once Cotto gets a lil more popularity with the mainstream.

Thats a point that can't be Argued... and thats what the fight is waiting on.

Mayweather will then have 3 of the largest fights in boxing. Point Blank Period.

If I was mayweather... that is something I would want.

Cotto is gonna get alot of goya beans off this too.. so it wouldnt be onesided.

I mean do yall understand where I'm coming from?

If the fight is set for Summer or Fall '09...it'll blow Hatton/Mayweather out the water.

Cotto vs. Paulie = 100k Buys
Cotto vs. Judah = 220,000 buys
Cotto vs. Mosley = 340,000 buys

Cotto vs. Gomez = Out of all the Fights hbo has ever had on it's broadcast, including Paul Williams vs. Santos Pakau, The Cotto vs. Gomez fight was the LOWEST watch boxing program ever on HBO...!!

But that strategy leads to only mishaps. Why not cash out now, while the pot is still big? Who knows if one of them doesn't lose and ruins the bigger picture. Fighters don't stay in their primes and undefeated forever. You have to strike while the iron is hot.

I don't understand this thread. The threadstarter is asking what the numbers mean but all I see are posts about how Floyd fans shouldn't use numbers an excuse, etc. etc.

                Am I missing something?

I have NO idea where you're getting these numbers. I happen to not believe you. And, for the record, Williams/Pakau wasn't on WCB AND didn't run against competition on SHOWTIME. Furthermore, Williams/Pakau didn't do better. You're assuming that.

Horus is an expert at arguing numbers.

Not about being a man in the ring.

This dude can go ALL day with the numbers.

It's the only arguement Floyds got left.

Horus must defend it to the death.
