  • Toney would kill him... Toney at supermiddle had a rare combination of superb boxing skills and power... I'm actually shocked so many people are actually picking joe? are you guys serious!?!

    • Calzaghe would probably win a decision.

      • In this one I predict Calzaghe by absolute ownage. I'm not dissing Toney at all but a prime Calzaghe's workrate would destroy him. I'm not talking a KO here, I'm not sure such a thing is possible against Toney, but for me Calzaghe is too fast, too unpredictable and too busy for James.

And yet reversed in the current poll. Anything to do with the time of day they were posted you think?

Yup, indeed I have. I was feeling somewhat aggressive that day. A marginally more balanced post I made today:

Didnt read it, cos i knew the outcome would be calzaghe winnin anyways.

Your opinion is your opinion, fine.

But he couldnt handle a 43 year old hopkins, toney was seriously quick handed at 160-168, had power in both hands, far more power than calzaghe btw, cos toney's power is proven against great fighters, better offense, better defense by light years.

I would have loved to see this fight, with calzaghe thinking he can jump in throwing wild wide shots and getting countered to death, toney beat better more techincally skilled fighters than calzaghe.
