You might have noticed I disagreed with Tunney's assessment of Hawkins but agreed with him that Boystov is still young.

quote me on where i was being negative or hateful.

i said he was a strong guy who was exciting with crowdpleasing style. it's an advantage for him that he's young with good physique in the division that lacks both. and that he's being moved along very slowly

where's the hate? i think it's only truth. and the things i wrote before were also true and you know it because my reasoning was provided with facts. yours was with direct love for the guy as a fan.

calling me ****** was a little hateful though. i thoiught you were a better poster than that.

Wlad faced excellent competition in his early 20s, and it led to serious hiccups in his career. A HW should peak at 28-32. Boytsov is way ahead of the curve. He is a future prospect, not a current challenger. I don't see why he should be "ashamed." He's not a titlist being milked, he's a prospect being groomed
you say that because now it's been set as standard in this era. well it's not how it was before, or how it should be. it's just the way that it is now. and if read carefully i didnt only include tyson, i also said patterson, ali, louis, and others. it's easier to pick off a name tyson because it's associated with many **** ups thus giving you a better chance at voicing your opinion that i was wrong

Heavyweights are older these days and Mike Tyson really is a one off in recent history.

Universum does protect their fighters it's true, but the ones they put forward had stellar amateur careers.

Look at the ages of the top 25 heavyweights. They are older these days.
maybe that's why they are so **** now.

you guys are all saying the same thing but refuse to agree with me. ahh, what's the difference, what do i give a **** about this boytsov kid anyway. just another fighter in this sport

Sounds like Boytsov easily beat Hawkins, that's a good win for young Boytsov...Hawkins is a big, strong durable opponent that has fought plenty of top fighters, huge punchers like Peter and Tua couldn't stop Hawkins.
