mike tyson was 20 when he became a champion, he was 21 when he was undisputed champion. patterson, ali, louis, and dozens of others. you're the one who's ******. he's a young strong guy fighting in the division of old overweight men, he should be ashamed for not making rocking noise by now. you know it and you being biased, otherwise i got no problem with your other posts. but you know the truth
Mike Tyson was also past his best by age 25.

Tyson failed to qualify for the Olympics at age 18, but Wlad won the superheavyweight Gold at age 19.

Louis was KOed by Schmeling at age 23 and came back to win his first title a year or two later.

Mike Tyson was an exception in terms of physical maturity and the quality of training he received as a teenager. You can't expect Boytsov to win a title at 22. No one is saying he should be comparable (except stylistically) to a young Tyson.

Wlad faced excellent competition in his early 20s, and it led to serious hiccups in his career. A HW should peak at 28-32. Boytsov is way ahead of the curve. He is a future prospect, not a current challenger. I don't see why he should be "ashamed." He's not a titlist being milked, he's a prospect being groomed

Your answer to Tunney is that Mike Tyson did it so everybody should?
Heavyweights are older these days and Mike Tyson really is a one off in recent history.

Universum does protect their fighters it's true, but the ones they put forward had stellar amateur careers.

Look at the ages of the top 25 heavyweights. They are older these days.

all those fighters you just mentioned are legends regardless of the losses that occured earlier in their careers. and dont try to turn it around, we talking when tyson was at his peak, not when he was at his worst and he achived much more than boytsov

tyson went to prison, as everybody knows, came back and regained the title past 25. your arguement are weak regarding tyson.

and you're wrong tyson was robbed of his place to qualify for the olympics. this was before they had the number system, watch his 2 fights with henry tillman and then tell me who really won them

louis was beat by a hall of famer world champion. id rather take the risk and loose to the champion, then fight the guy a looser of 10 or so fights and get the result everyone expected

im not expecting him to do what tyson did, or become a champion. im expecting him to take advantage of his youth and physical powers and fight real guys.
