    God that is frustrating though...

He is never going to lose the ranking because he will be busy fighting fighters that he already knows how to beat.

I dont like p4p ratings tho, I mean really will Floyd or Pac or Joe really be able to hurt Sam Peter or Wlad?

Pavlik hits hard but would his head stay on from a Lennox Lewis punch

I don't even really want him to lose it. I like Mayweather better than Pacquiao and Calzaghe. I just think it is a really ****ty system where no one can take the status away from "the man", he has to relinquish it. Honestly, that seems extremely lame to me.

Mayweather is a better fighter and has a better resume then both Calz and Pacman.

            Clear cut.

thats a cop out burney. what you're practically saying is that Floyd no longer needs to beat top competition because he can beat them anyway so its ok for him to beat DECENT comp and should stay #1 regardless. that is crazy

So Floyd can take the year off (DLH doesn't count at this point) and still keep the #1 spot?

He could be replaced. However, to do it whoever was trying to take the #1 spot would have do a lot, not just in a fight or two of importance.

No one to be honest, but nearly all credible P4P lists are based on resume, not skill. That's what I'm interested in.
