Who do you feel should be ranked higher?

    Pacquiao or Calzaghe.

I'm struggling with this one myself.

I am having an increasingly hard time ranking Mayweather over Pacquiao. I have a hard time ranking Pacquiao over Calzaghe, but I can't see how Calzaghe is over Mayweather.

It's a tough triangle to work out.

I think Calzaghe takes this one because of Kessler and Hopkins beings wins on his resume.

    Joe.

Pac lost to Marquez as far as I'm concerned.

It's very close, but I think you have to have Pac ahead right now.

Yeah most of Pac's big wins were against extremely faded fighters, and he lost both of the fights to Marquez.

pacquiao cuz he is a multiple division champ. he has beaten top guys in like 4 different divisions and he is about to add another division to his resume. he fits the mold of a p4p fighter better than calzaghe.

the way i see it, Cal has earned the 2nd spot with his win over Hop. Mayweather stays on top for now.

            1. Mayweather
            2. Calzaghe
            3. Pacquiao

Now, if Pacquiao moves up and beats Diaz to take his Lightweight belt, then Pacquiao should be moved up to 2 because he would be making history. now, if Floyd rematches Hatton, it would be a great insult to the boxing world, fans and history to keep him at #1 when other fighters are doing what they should be doing to earn that label and Pac should take it.

Pretty much my thoughts. While he has contested wins and a few losses, he has had success in a lot of big name fights which I give him the substantial edge for.

Exactly, people talk about how Barerra was faded, how??? Before the Pac fight he beat Naseem Hamed, Kevin Kelly, Jonny Tapia and Erik Morales and then got ktfo by Pac, how was that faded?

Morales was a bit faded but not badly faded, and the Marquez fight went either way, i'm not a Pac fan but besides the pinoys, no one gives him his due, its always something to hate on

barrera wins were clear valid wins. the second Morales win, i give him credit for though he WAS obviously on his way out. the 3rd Morales win, cmon, Morales didnt even look conscious the whole time. I gave Pacquiao the first fight with Marquez and scored the second a draw. Like i said, a win against Diaz should put him at #2 and if Mayweather decides to rematch Hatton, Pac should take the #1 spot.

I think Mayweather has to do something in the ring to lower himself on the rankings. You can use inactivity or rematches as an excuse to dislike him, but I don't think you should use it to drop p4p rankings, because unless he looks 1/2 as impressive as he did in the previous one there's no reason to think he's a worse fighter.
